With Fathers Day just around the corner, I’m absolutely thrilled about getting to spoon both my husband and my own Dad, and so are my kids.  Each of my kids has a special relationship with Dad and Grandpa and they love getting them gifts related to things that they can actually do together.

To simplify our lives, we’re doing our Fathers Day shopping at Dick’s Sporting Goods where I know that everyone can get the gifts that they want to share, without me needing to run all over town.

Here are some of our top Father Day gift ideas from Dick’s Sporting Goods:

Camping Gear For Dad:

Camping gear is always one of the best Father’s Day gifts. I know that my husband will always be thrilled about new camping gear AND that it will get lots of use during the summer!

GCI Comfort Pro Rocking Camping Chair
I know that Grandpa would absolutely love this chair.  It’s incredibly well built and would bring a bit of luxury to our big extended family campouts!

Black Diamond Spot 400 Headlamp
Black Diamond Headlamps are hands down our favorite lights for just about EVERYTHING!  They’re perfect for camping, hiking, and even a bit of cave exploring.  We already have a headlamp like this, but we always seem to lose it right when we need it, so a backup headlamp for Fathers Day would be perfect.

CORE 1000 Rechargeable Lantern
Both my husband and Dad love to play games while we’re camping and this lantern would make that so much easier.  I love that it’s both super bright and rechargeable, so we can get lots of use out of it!

Kelty Cosmic 20 Sleeping Bag
After years of constantly buying kids camping gear, it’s been almost 2 decades since my husband has had a new sleeping bag.  I love that this bag looks super warm and could be used in so many different conditions, so I think my husband is going to LOVE IT!

Cycling Gifts For Dad

It’s no secret that our family LOVES to bike, so I know that new biking gear will always be a win for my husband.  Here are some of the things that I know he’d love to get for Father’s Day:

Zoic Ether MTB Shorts
A new pair of Mountain Bike shorts is always a win at our house.  My teenage son has these shorts and LOVES them, so I think my husband would as well. They’re on a fantastic sale right now, so they’re an easy pick!

Louis Garneau Ditch Gloves
A fresh pair of bike gloves always feels SO GOOD, and I’ve been eying these Ditch Gloves for my husband.  I love that they’re lightweight so he can use them a lot in the summer, but also that they will give him lots of protection out on the trail!

Fishing Gifts For Dad

Fishing is one of my sons favorite things to do with Dad, and so he’s always wanting to get Dad more fishing gear to go out together.

Googan Squad Tackle Backpack
I know that one thing that my husband hates about fishing is carrying all of the tackle and gear, so I know that he’ll love this backpack.  It will simplify all of the fishing needs and make them easier to carry to his favorite fishing hole.  PS – it’s also on a great sale right now!

Columbia PFG Long Sleeve Shirt
We live at a pretty high altitude, so have to be really careful about sun exposure.  I know that this shirt would be great for Dad to take fishing, but also that he’d wear it in lots of other places as well, so it would get TONS of use!

Backyard Gifts For Dad

Camp Chef Slide And Grill
My Dad loves to grill in the summer, and has had his eye on a smoker for a while.  I love that this Camp Chef grill can be both a grill and a smoker, so I know it would get TONS of summer use!

Kan Jam
My Husband has had his eye on this backyard game for a while, so Fathers Day is probably the perfect time to surprise him with this.  He loves that this requires some skill, but is still one that the whole family can play together!

Spikeball
This was such an easy gift choice for Dad.  We already LOVE Spikeball so much and my husband keeps talking about having friends over for a multi-net tournament.  He’s going to absolutely LOVE having a second set so lots of people can play at the same time.

Best Accessories For Dad on Fathers Day

Nalgene Water Bottle
This water bottle is nothing fancy, but it’s incredibly durable, carries a lot of water, never leaks, and seems to last for YEARS!  I know that both my husband and Dad would be thrilled to get a new Nalgene and would get tons of use out of it!

Rumple Everywhere Towel
I know that this towel will get SO MUCH USE!  We love compact towels like this for our travels, but I know that my husband would use this all the time in the summer with all of our water activities.  It packs up super small so it’s really easy to take with you!

Paddling Gifts For Dad

Both my own Dad and my husband are pretty obsessed with paddling and do a lot of whitewater rafting, so I know that either of them would be thrilled with new paddling gear! Here’s what caught my eye:

Mustang Survival Trident Life Vest
This looks like a great life vest and would probably be a good upgrade since my husband’s life vest is over a decade old.  I love all of the features that make this great for paddling as well as the affordable price tag that come with it!

I really am amazed that Dick’s Sporting Goods really does have something for EVERY DAD, and I couldn’t belive how many great gift ideas we quickly found when looking for Father’s Day gifts for kids to give as well! I’d love to know what’s on your Father’s Day shopping list!
